This section of the website is aimed more for Rail Enthusiasts who may be traveling on our tours, rather than the general public and aims to provide information about locomotives that will be used on our tours.

"The Merry-le-bone" Saturday 5th September. UPDATED 2^nd September

WCRC have advised us that due to their need to have Vac-Brake fettle locomotives elsewhere this weekend, they can no longer provide the 2 Class 37s as advertised. HOWEVER a Class 33 is now available and so the tour will revert back to ‘Plan A’ of a Class 37 and Class 33 in Top and Tail formation.

The two locos for the tour, barring any failures or last minute alterations are 37516 and 33207, which are both at WCRC Carnforth.
